Website Design Chicago (hereafter to be noted as WDC) makes available a variety of resources (collectively the “services”) through this website.  By using my services, you agree to be bound by the following Privacy Policy, which may be revised from time to time at my sole discretion.  WDC is committed to protecting your privacy and to giving you the most powerful and secure online experience.  On occasion, I may ask you for information about yourself to provide services that you request.  This Privacy Policy explains data collection and use in those situations.  I encourage you to read the complete Privacy Policy.

B. HOW I COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

I will ask you when needed information that personally identifies you (“personal information”) or allows me to contact you.  Personal information collected by this WDC web site is limited to e-mail address, name, company or organization, country or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service.  I generally only request personal information when you ask for a service (i.e. WDC's free website analyzer), subscribe to my quarterly usability newsletter, or when purchasing a WDC service.

C. HOW I USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

I use your personal information for four primary purposes:

1. To help me create and deliver content most relevant to you.
2. To help you find information on my site.
3. To relieve you from having to provide your personal information more than once.
4. Only if you specifically and voluntarily sign-up , to notify you by e-mail about service upgrades, updated information, special offers and other new services (you will at any time be able to unsubscribe from such mailings by following the instructions at the bottom of my message).

Except as provided below, WDC will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law, subpoena, court order or other legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of WDC and its family of Web sites, and (c) protect the personal safety of users of WDC, its Web site, or the public.

D. HOW I PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

WDC has security measures in place to attempt to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under my control.  While I cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, I take many precautions to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.  Except under conditions explained above, your personal information is never shared outside this company.  Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled computers with limited access.  You are ultimately responsible for the security of your personal information.  Please take care when using and storing it.  I recommend that you NEVER divulge your password to anyone.
